I tried my hand with one of them 3D geology maps, that are all the rage right now (for good reason):

I didn’t manage to make the map in Blender, as per Daniel P. Huffman’s tutorial, ( probably because I used QGIS & GIMP instead of ArcGIS + Photophop), so I tried Aerialod, ispired by the works of Alasdair Rae.
Not very high definition, but not bad for a quick 1st try I’d say. 🙂
